Navigating the University/Academic system is especially hard for students of diversity. The Board of this organization has lived through that and wish to help current students do the same. We know the importance of creating communities of understanding and hope that this organization can provide that help as well as build a network of alumni

Karen Parra - Pi Sigma Alpha
Fall 2018
Karen Parra graduated from CSUF in Fall 2018. There she obtained a double degree in Philosophy and Political Science. She will be applying to law school in the near future, but currently she works as a Litigation Manager for a civil law firm in Hermosa Beach, California. Her mission for this alumni group is for alumni to help each other network for post-grad life and alumni to help current students navigate the changes university may present to them.

Mariana Gomez
May 2020
Mariana attended CSUF from 2016 to 2020. She will continue her journey in philosophy as a PhD student in Fall 2021. Her current interests are in critical philosophy of race, decolonial thought, and Latina feminist philosophy. Besides her philosophical interests, she enjoys listening to new music and wants to learn as many languages as possible.
SECRETARY
River Nuñez
Fall 2019
River graduated from CSUF in 2019 and has since been finding Film Production work around California. Their philosophical interests lie in studies of race, Queer studies, and the Philosophy of Film. They double majored in Cinema Television Arts with a special interest in video editing. Outside of philosophy they love coffee, gaming, and watching any film and tv suggested to them.
